Why "Mystical Feet?"

We make transformative theater from stories and dances. The work is playful, soulful, vaudevillian and lo-tech (no hydraulic lifts here). Humor is key. Ancient myths blend with new stories. Tales are told and foretold, bodies are moving, kinetic melodies swing about. The name, Mystical Feet is inspired by a 19th Century tale by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov wherein it is suggested that the rectification of the world will come about through a dance performed by a dancer with no feet.
